At Aftertaste Archive, authenticity is established long before a piece enters our archive.

Each item is sourced from vetted vendors and independent luxury specialists and undergoes a multi-step authentication process prior to being listed. Only pieces that meet our internal standards are introduced into the Aftertaste archive.
Our Approach

Every piece undergoes a layered review that combines independent verification with in-studio examination.

As part of this process, we utilise established third-party luxury authentication services, including LegitApp, following vendor verification and alongside our own detailed assessment. Each item is reviewed against brand-specific identifiers including serial numbers, date or production codes, materials, stitching, hardware, and construction techniques.

Condition, age, and visible signs of wear are carefully assessed and documented to ensure transparency and consistency across all listings.
Archive Standards

Aftertaste Archive does not operate as an open marketplace.

Each piece is individually selected, reviewed, and presented through a considered curatorial point of view. Items that do not align with our standards for authenticity, condition, or provenance are not listed within the archive.
Authenticity Guarantee

We stand behind the authenticity of every piece offered through Aftertaste Archive.

In the unlikely event that an item purchased from Aftertaste Archive is deemed inauthentic by a recognised independent authentication service, a full refund will be issued, with return shipping covered by ATA.
Optional Third-Party Authentication

For customers who would like documented independent verification, a third-party digital authentication certificate would be provided for an additional charge of 2000 rupees. A third-party authentication may also be useful for personal records or future resale. Contact us at sales@aftertastearchive.com with your order number and subject being Authenticity Certificate.

For select pieces, customers may also receive a complimentary digital provenance collectible, issued as an NFT alongside the third-party authentication certificate.

A Note on Vintage

All pieces offered through Aftertaste Archive are vintage or pre-owned and may show signs of age consistent with their history. These characteristics are part of the object’s story and are clearly noted within each product description.
